IS this kind of emulation possbile?

Post by ragtap on Mon Aug 05, 2013 6:37 pm

Hi!

I have been reading quite a lot about dongles, but any of them are similar to the one I have (I think so)

The way it is used is this:

I can use the sofware without the dongle, but when I try to save the changes, it will ask me for it.
Once checked if the dongle was valid, it will check the remaining "vouchers" I have remaining in the dongle, and displays me the vocuhers need to save the changes I want to save.

If I accept, it will discount the vouchers i have used of the dongle.

If I run out of vouchers, then I have to buy more, and so the company provides me with a new key refilling the dongle.

could this be emulated??

All I know is that the dongle is "hasp 2.17"

Thanx so much

Number of vouchers stored in HASP memory.
It is easy change the number in the original dongle via HASP editor tool or in the emulator.

I have been analyzing the data;

I have dumped and created the reg file with the unidump to reg when the dongle was empty, and now i have refill the dongle with a new code.

Comparing the data, the only change is on "option line" changing from 09 03 0D (empty) to 0A 15 22

Nothing changes on data.

How could this be??

No physical solutions.
Only software emulator is possible.
