This is how new I am...

So the software is called "USB trace"?.... And I need to run that to generate a log file? Is there a guide to setup and run that so I can provide the info?

Make log with USBTrace. Simple manual:

1) Download USBTrace [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
2) Setup and register USBTrace
3) Run USBTrace
4) Press button with label "Capture hot plugged USB devices"
5) Press button with green arrow
6) Insert dongle to USB
7) Press button with red square
Save log to file
9) In top left corner (in USBTrace) select your USB device and check it
10) Press button with green arrow
11) Run your program and work with her
12) Press button with red square
13) Save utl log to file
14) Convert utl log file to txt logfile and save it
15) Pack both and send us to any share folder
16) Put here link as plaint text

I've created the files requested.  Before I upload.... Question:  Do these files contain my hardware/software key?  While I want to get this emulated before the dongle eventually breaks, I'd rather not release my serial key for anyone to use.

I think it's rockey2. There is rockey2.dll in the installation directory.

Can it be solved?

only show the idVendor:idProduct from your log file - i can tell you more...

idVendor: 0x3689
idProduct: 0x8762

i don't known this type, sorry. can't comment about "files contain hardware/software key"
